P- Noble Dame VHH (aka "ND") was born on our farm on April 24, 2000. She was an elegant foal with big movement at an early age. As she has matured, her naturally athletic style is a pleasure to watch. She has extension and suspension and an elegant way of traveling. She's agile as well as graceful. She began her show career as a yearling in various halter classes, including the prestigious Haflinger Breed Class at Dressage at Devon. She placed 2nd at Devon in 2002 as a two year old.

In 2003 ND was inspected under the American Haflinger Registry's Inspection and Classification program. She scored 78 points and was awarded the Silver ribbon. Her scores for movement included some well deserved 9's. She began her under saddle work in the fall of 2003. In 2004 we continued her under saddle training and she competed in her first shows as a performance horse in addition to showing in halter. Her work ethic is outstanding and she really seems to like the show ring. She is also a wonderful trail horse and we enjoy lots of pleasure rides with her as well.

In 2005 we decided to hook ND to the cart. After a very brief refresher of the ground driving skills she had learned as a youngster, we had her hooked and driving. She seemed to enjoy driving from day one. We certainly enjoy driving her and showed her lightly in harness towards the end of the year. She performed extremely well considering the amount of time she had been in harness, once again proving she loves the show ring.

In 2006 we showed ND at the AHR NAtional show, the North Carolina State Fair Haflinger Show and and the Georgia National Fair Haflinger Show. She showed in halter, driving and riding. We had a great time, as usual, and her show results speak for themselves!
