Poetry in Motion VHH (aka "PIM") was born on our farm May 10, 2002. PIM is an athletic filly with a big floating trot. She is elegant and personable. She has a lovely long, well shaped neck, a full blaze and a pure bright white mane and tail.

PIM was shown in halter as a yearling and a two year old and was undefeated in her age group. In addition she has taken grand champion at several events.

We decided to have PIM inspected thru the American Haflinger Registries' Inspection and Classification program in 2005. Her half sister ND was inspected previously and had done quite well. We also planned to have her dam, Precious, inspected at the same time. We had started driving PIM in 2005 and used driving combined with ground work to help condition her for the inspection. She responded well to her training and we thought she looked pretty fabulous by the time of the inspection.

The Inspectors must have thought so too as she was awarded 81 points and the coveted Gold Ribbon! It was the first Gold awarded in three years in the United States and we were thrilled to say the least. It was a wonderful day and the fact that she was home bred by us made the achievement all the sweeter. Her dam, Precious, also scored very well that day and you can see the details of that on her page.

PIM had an excellent show season in 2006. She did well in halter as well as riding classes. At the Twin Birch Farm show in New York she was named Best of Show in Hand under both judges. At the 2006 AHR National show she was named Grand Champion Pleasure Mare and Best of Show over BOTH Pleasure and Draft mares.

PIM had her first foal, a lovely filly, on April 21, 2007.
