Samantha is a very easy going, friendly mare to be around. Her friendly, people oriented personality is a pleasure to be around. She socializes well with all the other horses and seems to get along with everyone. She's a big girl, standing 15 hands (60") barefoot. She is very well trained to drive either single or double and would be a suitable horse for a novice driver.

Her uphill build and prominent withers (both of which are hard to find in many Haflingers) makes her a nice riding horse as well. Her long strided, ground covering walk is a real pleasure from the saddle. She is comfortable on the trail either alone or with other horses and is very willing to please.
She will continue her under saddle and pleasure driving work as long as she is with us. Sam has raised one foal and is a good mother.
She is reproductively sound, but not in foal at this time.

UPDATE - 8/23/06 - Samantha was inspected at the
AHR Inspection and Classification held in Ohio
and received a score of 75 for a SILVER ribbon!
